Chaco von Churwalden is a beautiful 12 month old German Shepherd puppy. As you can see from looking at Chaco’s eyes, he is terrified. So many of the younger dogs are just overwhelmed by losing their home, ending up in a kill shelter often because their family lost their home and then ending up in a noisy huge kennel at the rescue. They do adjust in a few days; they realize that even though the rescue is a kennel too, nothing bad is going to happen to them, they really understand. So we expect Chaco will be back to a happy go lucky puppy in a few days, but he just arrived. Chaco is very comfortable with other dogs, we tried to introduce him to some cats, but he wanted nothing to do with those scary creatures!
